We decided that it would be fun to keep in touch with all of our family and friends other than with email, so here's our blog. Our goal is to post every week, so you can check back to see what's up with the Nelson's.
We are enjoying our summer, but it has been kind of a bummer cold summer. Not very many sunny days, but we have made the most of the ones that we have had. Kody is getting geared up to start Kindergarten and he is so excited to be going to big boy school. I can't believe that he is old enough to go to school, but mommy is trying to be brave!! Actually we are really excited and are having fun getting him ready. We have been on a waiting list for a Charter school that we want him to go to since April and we just found out that he got in last week, so we were pretty excited about that.
Jacob just turned 7 months and is growing like a weed. He is such a good baby. We are so blessed. He is so happy and just loves to laugh at his big brother and Kody loves to make him laugh. He is tired of laying around, but hates to be on his belly so he figured out how to scoot around while laying on his back. It is quite hillarious, but the little guy can sure get around.
Garrett and I are doing great. Busy keeping up with the boys. Garrett has a new motorcycle and has taken advantage of the sunny days and gone on a few rides (not enough though). Kody loves to ride with him. Other than that we are just great. We love and miss all of you a bunch and will try our hardest to keep this updated.
