So life has been a little crazy, but what's new. It is definitely Fall in Alaska. It has been so much fun watching the leaves change and all of the beautiful colors. What a beautiful world we live in and how blessed we are to experience it. Surprisingly we have had quite a bit of sunshine the last two weeks and we have definitely been taking advantage of it. It is getting colder and we are digging out the warmer clothes. The tops of the mountains have snow on them and we have been watching it creep slowly towards us. It won't be long until winter is upon us.
We introduced Kody into Geo caching and he loves it. Geo caching is like a treasure hunt which totally appeals to Kody. You use a GPS to hike and find hidden caches that have treasures inside them. Thanks to Garrett's great navigating we have been successful in finding all but one of the caches that we were searching for. It has been a ton of fun and we would recommend it to everyone.
Kody is doing great in school and was moved up from Kindergarten math to 1st grade math (he definitely gets his math smarts from his daddy). He feels like such a big shot. It has been quite a transition for us. Going from just talking about different numbers to adding and number sentences. Jacob just turned 9 months. Where has the time gone? He has been teething and got 3 teeth in about 3 weeks. Poor little guy, but he has been a trooper. He is fascinated with the falling leaves. He will be sad when when they are all gone. But then he will have fluffy white stuff to watch!!!
