1st Grade Here He Comes!

I can't believe that it is school time already. Where did the summer go? Kody had a great first day yesterday and is so excited to be back in school. Actually I think he is just excited to see all of his friends! As I was fixing him breakfast I told him to have a super happy first day of school and he said "Mom it is not my first day of school, that was when I was in Kindergarten. It is my first day of 1st grade." Okay Mr. Big 1st Grader thinking he is all grown up. Letting him go this year was much easier than last year for me. No tears! I am sad to have him gone all day, but at the same time it is nice. It was so cute after Kody left, Jacob was wandering around the house calling "O-Dee, O-Dee". He was so sad that his O-Dee was at school. Mommy just isn't as fun to play with as his brother. It is going to be a new adventure this year, but we are excited and ready for all the fun to come.
