Hurray for Snow!!!

It is craziness I tell you! Last Monday we were playing outside, enjoying the Autumn sun, raking our leaves and riding bikes and today we were playing in the newly fallen snow. It has been a very strange Fall and in the 7 1/2 years we have been up here this is the latest that we have had our first snow of the season. I was dreading it, but now that it is here I am excited. I think my boys excitement rubbed off on me. There is nothing like the first snow of the season. I love it when the snow covers up all the remaining signs of Fall and covers up all the brown, leaving everything a sparkiling white. I love it!


The boys woke up and I told them to look out the window and it was pure joy in our house. It was so fun to go out and play in the snow. Jacob is totally in love with the snow this year. He is so much fun to watch. I had him bundled in all his snow gear and he looked like a marshmallow man walking around. Too cute!!! And Kody just loves the snow and would stay outside playing in it all the time if I would let him. So winter is upon us.
