I just realized that it has been forever since I have actually written on our blog about what has been going on in our lives. I write on Face book all the time, but forget to blog. So needless to say life has been super crazy!
The biggest news is that we are 99% sure that we are moving to Arkansas. We should know for sure in about 2 weeks. Garrett has to go back down to Arkansas next week for medical and psych exams, but if he passes those then they will officially offer him the job. The guy doing the hiring was handed Garrett's file from the recruiter and was told to do whatever he needed to get him hired, so that is very promising. After they extend the job offer we have about 1 month to get down to AR. So much to do and so little time to do it in that it is a bit overwhelming.
So we are moving ahead with moving plans. The house is on the market, down sizing and de-cluttering has begun, and the packing has started. It is hard keeping the house clean for showings while you have 2 little boys (actually 3) and are packing. I don't think that the house has ever been so clean on a regular basis as is has this past week. It is so nice, but oh so exhausting!
We are very excited to move, but at the same time we will miss Alaska terribly. We have weighed the pros and cons numerous times and Arkansas consistently tops the pro list! To name a few, it will be a huge blessing to be closer to family and not cost us an arm and a leg to travel to visit everyone. There are so many new things for us to experience and I am so excited that our boys will get to play outside pretty much all year long without a million layers on. Kody was very against the move at first. Now that we are starting to pack and he realized that he gets to finish the school year he is all for it. It will be hard, but we are looking forward to the adventures that await our family.

Wow! I am excited for you guys! I love moving around and going to new places! I hope that everything works out for you guys! And you know, we aren't to far away! You can come see the beaches and visit us!!!
I am so excited for you. I am glad that I don't have to worry about keeping my house clean in the process of moving. I've never thought about that. How fun. I thought you were telling us something when you said you actually had (3) boys, then I realized you were talking about Garrett :)
Ha ha!!! Nope no announcements here! Some times I think Garrett is harder to pick up after than the boys. And Eleanor, I am so excited to be closer to the beaches. We may just have to come visit :o)
OK, we are SO excited that you guys will be moving closer! It looks as though we will be in VA, so we can actually see each other once in a while! Yeah!
