We Are In Arkansas

We drove up to Garrett's dad's house on June 15th. A little less than 6 days since we left Alaska. It was the trip of a lifetime and the boys did so well especially for being in the car for over 4,200 miles. We saw some amazing things, lots of wildlife, where the Battle of the Bulge (Custers Last Stand) took place, Mount Rushmore and so much more. It was so much fun, but we are so excited to be here. The previous posts have pictures from the trip and our move!

We are giving apartment living a try for a year, so that is going to be an adventure in itself. Rent is cheap and we want to reduce our debt, so it is the way to go. The boys love it because we have a pool and they are becoming quite the little swimmers. Though I don't think that it has set in that this is really our home and we aren't on vacation anymore. We are still waiting for our shipping container which won't be here until around the first week of July. So we are roughing it, but to tell you the truth it is kind of fun. We are swimming lots, going to the library and got to go to the amusement park here a few times. Garrett started his new job on Tues. and he is liking the dynamics of the department a lot. Everyone is friendly, but hey we're in the South now!!!

Sounds like we have the same "move to the south plan". Be with family and get out of debt! Glad to hear you arrived safely and that all is well. See you soon :)
