Realized how far behind I was on my blogging when I downloaded pictures from my camera. We have been busy this past few weeks and having so much fun. We went to the Legends Hot Air Balloon Rally here at the airport and loved watching the balloons. The boys were in awe at how big they were and if they could have gone for a ride in one they would have. When it got dark they did a count down and then lit all of the balloons up. It was so beautiful. Then after watching the balloons we got to see Clint Black in concert! It was so much fun being able to go to a concert again. This was the boys first concert and they loved it. Jacob loved dancing to the music and does this booty dance that is hilarious. Fun times!

Next outing was to the Mid-America Science Museum which is amazing. Everything is hands on and let me tell you it was so nice to tell the boys that they could touch everything. Needless to say we bought a family pass and will be frequent visitors.

Last weekend some of my girl friends were going the temple and my wonderful husband kept the boys and let me go. Garrett had actually been gone for the week getting certified to be a police officer in AR and got home Friday just before I left. It was so hard to leave when he just got home, but I needed a break in the worst way at it was very worth it. The nearest temple is in Memphis(3 hours away), so we decided to go the night before and have a little get away. It was so nice and of course the temple was amazing as always. It was the getaway that I needed, fun times with friends, lots of laughs, my spirit rejuvinated, and I feel like I can face life with a new outlook. Mommy getaways are a must!

While I was gone the boys went up to the Lookout Tower with daddy and got to see all of Hot Springs. Kody talked and talked about it forever when I got home. They loved having time with just daddy and I love that Garrett loves to spend time with his boys.

Jacob is loving preschool and he has grown so much. It is so good for him. Every Tues and Thurs he practically runs to the car when I tell him it is time for preschool. He feels so important showing off or telling us what he learns. I love it! I have also been watching my niece Darla after school and one night Chick Fil-A had a touch a truck night, so away we went. They had all these trucks that the kids could climb in and pretend to drive. They were in seventh heaven! So much fun and great cousin memories!

So those are a few of our adventures that have happened in the past few weeks. I need to be better at blogging because I know I am forgetting a lot, but one step at a time. Life is just amazing!
