Garrett's New Toy

Garrett finally got his new AR and has been anxiously waiting for a time to go shoot it. So we headed out this week and had a good time(unfortunately Kody was at school). I'm not sure if I posted what happened to the one he bought for work in Alaska, so to make a long story short.... Garrett had to go through a training course to be able to qualify to carry it on duty here and during the training his gun basically blew up. Scary, I know. But it wasn't the gun it was the ammo, it was a bad batch of Remington ammo and the bullet didn't fully eject from the gun and it made a nice mess of his gun. To say the least he was very upset & sad. That gun was his baby. After a lengthy battle with Remington they finally replaced it with what he wanted. It is a nice gun and we had a blast putting a few rounds through it. Jacob loved imitating the sound of the gun firing as Garrett shot it and loved being a big helper setting up targets. Fun day!
