Merry Christmas!!!

We hope that you all had a very Merry Christmas! I love this time of year and love the spirit of Christmas. It is so much fun watching the wonder and excitement of this season with my little men. Oh to be like a child and to have their innocence. Kody was full of questions about how Santa can really do all that he does in one night and really kept Garrett and I on our toes answering them. He was also very intrigued with the Christmas star, how it appeared for Jesus birth and how it shone the way for the wisemen. We even braved the cold and went outside searching for it! We had a very happy day and it was so much fun being together as a family. This was Jacob's first Christmas and he was so much fun. I think he was a little overwhelmed at first, but then he got the hang of opening his presents and thought it was pretty neat. We had a very relaxing yet fun filled day!

Quick update: Life is starting to look up for us! Knock on wood, no one is sick at the moment. Yeah!!! Kody is doing better and will be getting his tonsils taken out January 19th. The doctors feel that by getting them out it will solve his problems. So I will keep updates. In two days Jacob will be 1 years old and I am not ready for this. My baby is not a baby anymore. Where has the year gone? Last year we were anxiously awaiting his arrival and now he is almost a year old. But what a fun and exciting year it has been having him as a part of our family and seeing him grow. I will post pictures soon. Hope you all have a Happy New Year!!!

Oh my goodness girl! You deserve a happy new year with an ending like that. I hope his surgery goes well. It is always so hard to see little ones in that condition. When Jens was born he had low blood sugar and so he spent a couple of days in the NICU. They had to put an I.V. in his forehead. It was so sad!! Hang in there!
