Kody's tonsillectomy went good today. He was such a brave boy and is doing great. I have to say he is hilarious on his pain medication. They gave him something to calm his nerves and relax him before they took him to the operating room. He got really loopy and gave us a few laughs. Couldn't walk, slurred speech, etc. The surgery went quick, but being a mom it felt like forever. I couldn't wait to be with him. When he saw me in the recovery room he started trying to rip his IV out saying he was ready to go home, but a Popsicle bribed him to be patient. So we are enjoying some lazy days and hope his healing will be quick. Thanks for all the support.
