We have emerged from hibernation! Or at least are trying to. After over two weeks of below zero temperatures we are finally starting to thaw out. Our average temperature for the past two weeks was -14 and that wasn't factoring in the wind chill. It was beyond cold and we did our best to stay inside. Lots of fun family time! Now Mother Nature is teasing us and has given us a little heat wave. We are enjoying 40 degree weather though everything is melting, muddy and icy we went outside today and blew bubbles. Kody announced that he was so glad that it was finally Spring cause he gets to play outside. Little does he know that it is just a tease, but we will enjoy it while we can!

The last few weeks we have been adjusting to Kody being back in school after winter break and getting back into our routine. Kody got an award at school in Technology. Hmmmmm! I think that is his daddy in him. It was presented to him at an assembly. He was so proud and excited! As long as we can keep his cold under control he will be getting his tonsils taken out bright and early Monday morning. Hopefully he will bounce back quickly. I will post an update.

Jacob is getting into everything and is trying his hardest to try to walk. He has this little mischievous grin and giggle that he does when he knows he shouldn't get into something. But he is so darn cute it is hard to get mad at him. Other than that we have been busy starting remodeling projects again. We are getting ready to remodel a bathroom, rearrange every ones bedrooms and create a playroom. Yeah!!! They will be fun projects. I will post pictures soon.

I can't believe it got so warm up there. It's about 40 here also, and most of our snow is gone. Good luck with Kody, I hope all comes out alright! I love the slide show of the birthday.
