I can't believe that it has been so long since my last post, but life has been keeping us very busy. We have been having an amazing summer with lots of sunshine and warm weather, so we are taking full advantage of being outside. It has been so fun having Kody home, but I think he is counting the days until he can go back to school so he to see his friends every day. But we found out that my parents were coming to visit and they drove all the way from Arizona. They had an amazing trip and we were able to keep them here for about 4 weeks. We thoroughly enjoyed having them here and because they drove we didn't have any time restrictions, so it was so nice to just be able to play!!! I did a slide show of the fun that we had with them. Between a fishing trip, 2 Birthday's, the 4th of July, Bear Paw Festivities, and so much more, we kept busy. Thanks Meema and Papa for all the fun times and great memories!
So timing really stinks. I guess I can never do anything the easy way. Anyway, I had to have emergency surgery on Wednesday and I would have given anything to have still had my mom here (they left on Sunday). I started having stomach pains and finally went to the doctor on Tuesday. To make a long story short, I have a hernia and it was blocked. So they rushed me into surgery Wednesday, repaired it and I am on the mend. Thank goodness I have a husband with a wonderful job that allows him to take time off to take care of me. If I didn't have him I don't know what we would have done. Thanks Garrett for being so wonderful! I love you!
So that is a brief little update on our family. Once I am off pain medication and can think a little more clearly I will try and post a little bit more in detail. Have a Happy day!

Hey I hope that you are doing good. That is very stinky timing. I can't wait to get Garth and Jacob together. They look like they would just have a blast together. Man, how time flys!
Hope that you are feeling better! I just got so sad when I realized that mom and dad were already gone and you had to have surgery. Anyway, all of the pics are so fun...and there were so many of them!!! Derick and I have a new found love for the song "Walking on Sunshine" ha ha
