So this is going to be a long post bear with me. I am back on my feet and actually coherent now. Drugs do the strangest things to your head. But I am feeling much better just trying not to over do it and the hardest part is remembering that I can't lift. I never knew how many things you really use your stomach muscles for. Garrett has been amazing taking care of me and the boys and all the stuff around the house. I am so sad that he is going back to work (back to reality for me), but he is so ready. I think we are driving him crazy! It was nice to let him get a taste of what I deal with on a day to day basis. See I don't just sit around all day watching T.V. and eating bonbon's :o) We are still enjoying our sunshine and getting sad that summer is coming to an end. The pictures are a few of the fun happenings around our house.

Nice bandage Kody and way cool worm! So here's the story behind the bandage. Sunday we were getting ready to walk out the door to church. Garrett asked Kody to get his boot's and then we heard a blood curdling scream and Kody comes running with blood rushing down his hand. We asked him what happened and he said he cut it on daddy's knife. Jumping to conclusions we start cleaning it up and talking to him about never playing with daddy's knife's. Through the tears he said he wasn't playing with a knife that he reached in the boot to take out a toy that was in the bottom and he just got cut. So come to find out Garrett has a knife in his boot for work that is in a plastic case. Well the knife somehow (we will never know how) got out of the case and pierced through the boot lining. As Kody reached in to take the toy out he got a nice deep cut that sent us to the ER for 3 stitches. The nurse wrapped his hand up real nice, so he could get a little more sympathy. Thank goodness it wasn't worse!

The boys built the "Big" worm a home in the back of their dump truck. Dirt and worms! Can life get any better?!

There's nothing like a drink of water from the hose!

This is Jacob's new tricycle. Isn't he cute! He has no clue how to pedal it yet, but has started scooting around on it and screams if you try to push him around. "Mr. I Will Do It Myself"
A fun trip to the U-Pick Farm! We got yummy zucchini, broccoli, snow peas, and rhubarb. Kody loves how big the rhubarb leaves are and got very imaginative with them. Jacob loved riding in the wagon. He loves tractors and there were a few working on the farm and he was in 7th heaven. It was a perfect way to spend a day in the sun.
