Playing at Fire Lake

We decided to take Nali to the lake and see if we could get her to swim. She loved the water. Garrett would pick her up and toss her in and she loved it. It was warm and sunny, so the boys had a blast wading and playing in the mud. Don't understand what I did to deserve it, but every time Nali needed to shake she would come over and shake right next to me and Jacob. I think Garrett was telling her to and bribing her with treats. Poor Jacob got the worst of it, but he just laughed as he got showered with water and mud.


We have been very busy and fighting sickness. Poor Garrett is getting over an ear infection. Not fun, he is a big baby when he is sick! Jacob and I are getting over nasty colds finally. We signed Kody up to do Cub Scouts (he is a Tiger Cub)with some friends. He needed an extracurricular activity and he said this one sounded fun. So it will be a fun adventure. Jacob is just growing like crazy and starting to talk up a storm. Fall has arrived and the beautiful colors of Autumn are starting to appear. It is so pretty. I love this time of year. Though it makes me a little sad to think that the "S" word will be appearing soon and I'm not so sure I am ready for it yet. Oh well, I love that time of year too when it gets here.
