The other day I got Jacob settled in front of the T.V. with some dry cereal and went to take a quick shower(Garrett was asleep in our room oblivious to what was going on in the next room). As I was getting dressed I noticed that Jacob was being extremely quiet, so I went to the front room to check on him and this is what I saw. When I found him he actually had the new bottle of baby powder in his hand dumping it everywhere. I asked him what in the world he was doing and he just looked up with a huge grin and said "I make a mess mommy!" I was so mad, but just walked away laughing. Let me tell you baby powder is not fun to clean up especially when it is a complete bottle spread all over the floor, trampoline, baby car seat, chair, T.V. and in the fan. We didn't know it was in the fan until we turned it on & it made a poofy white cloud of powder in the air. On the bright side it made our house smell good!!! Oh my little silent tornado! As we were cleaning up, yes he helped, he hugged me saying "Sorry make a mess mommy!" Ornery little stinker!!!

I do have to say that it would have been pretty funny when you turned on the fan later and the white cloud came out.
We have had several similar stories in our home! I think every home with young kids gets at least one "surprise" mess. Good thing it was something pleasant smelling, instead of otherwise though!
How come the baby car seat though? Are you doing daycare? Or just have one hanging around?
Too funny! It's better to laugh, isn't it. We've cleaned up the exact same amount of poop, peanut butter, neosporin, flour, cut barbie hair, rice, shampoo, syrup, boxed cakemix... all at different times of course, and the poo thing repeated itself for months. Boo.

I 'love' when they do those things! NOT! But they are so darn cute it is hard to stay mad for long!!! Just keep laughing, one day it will be a great story to tell his future wife!!!
